AFFINA’s Peoria Operations to Add 100 New Jobs over the Next Four Weeks

In support of new business, AFFINA will add 100 positions to its contact center operations in Peoria. Applications are being accepted at AFFINA’s Orange Prairie Contact Center facility and online at www.affina.com. AFFINA’s Peoria contact center operations provide inbound customer service support for a number of companies across several industries including telecommunications, transportation, consumer electronics, consumer products, packaged goods, publishing, government, and healthcare.

“We have won a new client contract and are delighted to be adding jobs to the Peoria business community at this time,” said Wendy Basham, Vice President of Human Resources.  “The open positions are primarily for Customer Service Representatives to answer inbound calls, e-mail and white mail inquiries from our clients’ customers.”

AFFINA has been operating its inbound customer service centers since 1973 in Peoria. “With more than three decades of employing exceptional individuals in Peoria, we’re very happy to expand our North American operations here,” Basham said.

The 100 positions are entry-level inbound customer service positions, answering phone calls and e-mails from consumers seeking assistance or information for some of the world’s most recognized brand names. The positions start at $9.25 per hour and offer a complete package of benefits including medical, dental, and disability insurance, employer-matched 401K retirement fund, and tuition reimbursement.

AFFINA is accepting applications and interviewing candidates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at its Orange Prairie contact center, located at 5515 West Route 150, just west of the Shoppes at Grand Prairie. A job fair will be held on Monday, April 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Orange Prairie center as well with on-the-spot interviews for qualified applicants.
